Description

Ordinary braided hoses soak up water and can start to smell, but the Hydpro Bright Tek LP Regulator Hose keeps water away from its reinforcement with the maker's patented Fiber Shield layer, which seals the aramid fibres inside polyurethane so salt and residue cannot soak in. The monofilament polyamide outer braid is light and flexible and slides over itself without catching, so the hose resists kinking when the second stage is turned to the side. The 80 cm length comes in five colours, letting a diver colour-code a regulator or match a BCD. The 100 cm yellow hose marks an octopus clearly for an out-of-air buddy, and the 200 cm lengths serve a long-hose primary in technical and cave configurations. Fittings are nickel and chrome-plated brass, with a 3/8 inch UNF male end for the first stage and a 9/16 inch UNF female nut for the second stage. It suits a diver who wants a lighter, more flexible hose that stays fresh through a season of salt water.
