Kikx Pool Noodle

Description

A pool noodle is one of the most useful pieces of kit in a learn-to-swim class, and Kikx make theirs in a hexagonal profile with a mottled multicolour finish. Made from closed cell, expanded polyethylene foam, the noodles are flexible, buoyant and do not absorb water, and they are weather and UV stable and non-toxic. There are three sizes: a mini noodle 101 cm long, a slim 2 m noodle 55 mm across, and a standard 2 m noodle 65 mm across, each in blue mixed with black, red or turquoise. In swimming lessons a teacher can use it for support during kicking drills, in an aquacise class it adds resistance and buoyancy, and in a home pool it is pure fun. Kikx are clear that a noodle is not a safety aid but a tool to help with buoyancy, so children need constant supervision. It suits learners, aqua aerobics groups and families.
