Kinzi Anchor Bow Shackle

Description

This anchor bow shackle is a rounded, wide-bodied shackle in AISI 316 stainless steel, used to join an anchor to its chain or rode and for general rigging where a load may pull from different angles. The bow shape spreads the load better than a straight D shackle and gives room for a rope or chain to move. The body is cast with a forged pin, and the surface is electro polished for a bright finish that resists salt water. It is offered in six sizes from 4 mm to 16 mm, so it can be matched to the size of the chain or line in use. The standard safety factor is a working load of one quarter of the breaking load, and the breaking loads per size are not listed in the supplier data, so check them before use. It suits a boat owner who wants a stainless steel connection between an anchor and its chain or a strong shackle for deck rigging.
