Kinzi Spring Snap Hook, Angled with Eye End

Description

An angled spring snap hook has a gate set at an angle to the body, which makes it easier to hook onto a ring or rail and helps it seat securely once clipped on. This Kinzi angled spring snap hook is forged from stainless steel in AISI304 (DIN 1.4301) or AISI316 (DIN 1.4401) and electro polished for a smooth, bright, corrosion-resistant finish. The eye end allows a rope, strap or shackle to be attached. It is sold in 6 and 10 mm sizes. The maker notes that the standard safety factor for working load is one quarter of the breaking load, which is the general rule for rigging hardware. It suits boat owners, campers and workshop users who need a quick-release stainless clip for lanyards, lines, covers and tethers. The maker's data gives no working load figures, so the rating for the chosen size should be confirmed before it is used for lifting or load-bearing.
