Kinzi Spring Snap Hook, Circular with Eye End

Description

A spring snap hook lets a line, lanyard or fitting be clipped on and released quickly with one hand, and a rounded body with an eye end keeps it easy to attach to a rope, strap or fixed point. This Kinzi circular spring snap hook is forged from stainless steel in AISI304 (DIN 1.4301) or AISI316 (DIN 1.4401) and electro polished for a smooth, bright, corrosion-resistant finish. It is sold in a 6 mm size. The maker notes that the standard safety factor for working load is one quarter of the breaking load, which is the general rule for rigging hardware. It suits boaters, campers and workshop users who need a light, corrosion-resistant clip for flags, fenders, covers, lanyards and similar light duties. The maker's data gives no working load figures, so the rating for the chosen size should be confirmed before it is used for lifting or load-bearing.
