Grip panels on the wrists stop a computer or compass creeping round the arm, and grip patches on the shoulders keep a BCD from sliding when the cylinder swings on a boat roll. Reinforced knee pads take the wear of kneeling on a training platform or a rocky entry. The zip sits on the back with an anti-scratch closure at the neck.
