Mares TEK Gloves 2mm

Description

Clipping a bolt snap, setting a line marker or feeling for a guideline in silt is slow work through a full glove, and the Tek glove opens up the fingers that do that work. The thumb, index and middle finger are cut off at the first joint, leaving the fingertips bare for touch while the rest of the hand stays covered. It is double-lined neoprene with 2mm Amara inserts for grip and wear resistance, and there is no strap or hook and loop closure to snag on a line. Mares designed it for cave diving in medium temperatures, and it works equally well on a wreck penetration or a technical dive where reels and snaps are handled constantly. The open fingertips mean less warmth and protection, so it is not a cold-water glove. Sizes run from S to XL. It suits a technical or cave diver who needs fingertip feel.
