XTR Inflator Hose

Description

A stiff rubber inflator hose pushes the power inflator away from where the left hand expects it, and fights every coil when the kit is packed for travel. The XTR inflator hose replaces the rubber with a polyether-based polyurethane core under a nylon braid, so it weighs less and bends where it is routed. Metal sleeves clamp the braid to the core rather than sliding it over the fittings, and every hose is leak-tested in Italy. A standard quick-disconnect coupling fits a BCD power inflator or a drysuit valve. On a sidemount rig, the 0.20 m and 0.25 m black lengths keep the feed short and tidy. For a jacket BCD on a warm-water boat week, the 0.51 m to 0.65 m lengths cover the run to the inflator. On a drysuit, the 0.90 m length runs under the arm to the chest valve. Nine colours make a BCD feed easy to tell from a drysuit feed, and fitting belongs with a technician. It suits a diver who wants a lighter inflator hose in a colour that stands out.
