Description

A compressor panel that blends nitrox needs the oxygen reading where the operator stands, not where the gas line runs, and the Nuvair Pro O2 Panel Mount Remote puts the display on the panel and the sensor out on the line. It is designed to install on a control panel or any flat surface, with a threaded oxygen sensor on a cord that sits in-line with the gas a short distance away. At a fill station that means oxygen content can be watched during filling without crowding the panel with plumbing. The same layout suits monitoring a contained space, and the analyser reads oxygen in nitrox, heliox and trimix mixes. The electrochemical sensor covers 0 to 100% and reaches 90% of its final value in under six seconds, with an expected life of about 36 months in air; the Nuvair remote sensor with jack is its replacement. This version runs from a 9 V battery, so no mains supply is needed at the panel. It suits dive centres and fill stations building or upgrading a nitrox panel.
