It resists heat, UV and chlorine, so a suit washed daily and dried in the sun outlasts a plush-lined one by a wide margin, which is why this turns up in training centres. Colour sizing icons on the shoulders make the right suit quick to pick off a rack. The foam is 5 millimetre X-Foam, a high-stretch formulation made without petrochemical feedstock, cut to a women's pattern that removes the loose neoprene at the small of the back where an ill-fitting unisex suit flushes cold water through. Entry is a diagonal rear YKK KA zip on a brass slider, with single zippered ankle cuffs on the same sliders; brass because a rear zip is worked blind with one hand behind the back and salt takes plated hardware apart. Heavy-duty kneepads and anti-abrasion panels cover the shoulders and seat. Six sizes are stocked. It suits a woman in the water often rather than twice a season.
