Pelican 1420 Protector Case

Description

Sensitive equipment needs a shell that survives baggage handling and boat decks, and Pelican has built its Protector cases for that job since 1976. The 1420 is watertight, crushproof and dustproof, made in the USA with a watertight silicone O-ring in the lid and over-molded rubber handles. An automatic pressure equalisation valve balances the air pressure inside so the lid does not seal itself shut at altitude, while keeping water out. Double throw latches open easily, and the hardware is stainless steel. The interior measures 33.2 x 12.7 x 25.4 cm, enough for a camera body, a dive computer kit or a torch and charger. The wall is open cell core with a solid skin, which keeps it strong and light.
