Description

Fogging is a temperature problem, not a cleanliness problem, and the Quantum treats it as one. Warm damp air leaving the nose is channelled by a system of membranes moulded around the eyes and nose so it is deflected towards the rubber skirt instead of the lenses, and the outside of the skirt carries two small heat exchangers that cool the air inside the mask towards the temperature of the water. Removing the temperature difference removes the condensation. Downward vision is enhanced at the same time. It is paired with the Itaca Ultra Dry, whose internationally patented dry guard prevents water entry on the surface in any position, using a mechanism with three movement joints and a counterweight that opens the upper valve immediately on surfacing or descending. Its lower corrugated section is smooth inside and holds the snorkel clear of the mouth while using a regulator. Three colourways. It suits a diver whose mask fogs no matter what they do.
