Description

Junior suits give up at the ankle long before the shoulder, and the long ankle zips here are the single most useful thing on this one: a child gets in and out with nobody wrestling the neoprene on. Wrist cuffs are cut in thinner-skin material and roll up or down as arms lengthen, which pushes one suit across more than a single season. The body is 2.5 mm X-Foam, made without petroleum and inside the P.A.H. test limits for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. Plush lines the torso and stretch panels down the sides free up the shoulders and hips. A diagonal back zipper handles entry, with a short throat zip to relieve neck pressure while waiting between dives. Reinforced kneepads take the punishment a pool floor and a training platform hand out, which is what usually finishes a first suit. Four fittings are keyed to height, 128, 140, 152 and 164 centimetres, so a child is measured rather than sized. It suits a junior diver in a pool or warm water.
