Modular Cylinder Valve 232 bar

Description

Most divers pay no attention to the side of a cylinder valve until they want to add a second regulator or join two cylinders into a twinset, and a standard valve cannot do either. This San-O-Sub modular valve can. Its side port takes a blanking plug for single-cylinder use, a second outlet when a separate regulator is wanted, or a bridge when two cylinders become a twinset, so the valve grows with the diving. It is rated to 232 bar with a DIN outlet and a yoke insert, and comes in left and right hand versions to match the side the handwheel must sit on, in either M25x2 or 3/4 NPSM cylinder thread. A diver fitting a single cylinder today and planning a pair later, a centre building sidemount cylinders, and a technician assembling a manifolded twinset all start here. Left and right are not interchangeable in a twinset. It suits a diver or centre building towards independent or twinned cylinders.
