Mono Valve M25 300 bar (Handwheel Left)

Description

A 300 bar cylinder carries close to 30 percent more gas than the same steel filled to 232 bar, but only if every part of the column is rated for it, and the valve is the part most often overlooked. This San-O-Sub mono valve is built for that pressure: an M25x2 cylinder thread, a 300 bar DIN outlet and a handwheel on the left. Typical uses include re-valving a 300 bar steel cylinder after its test, building a cylinder for a technical diver who fills to full rating, and replacing a damaged valve on a 300 bar rental cylinder. Confirm the cylinder stamp reads 300 bar before ordering, because the valve does not raise the rating of the cylinder it sits in. Fitting is work for a qualified cylinder technician. It suits the owner or centre running 300 bar steel.
