Scubatech Kevlar Gloves 2.5mm

Description

Wreck penetration, line work and diving around rough rock all need hands that can feel what they are doing and skin that survives contact with sharp edges. Scubatech's 2.5 mm Kevlar gloves aim at that middle ground. The neoprene is thin enough to keep dexterity for clips, reels and camera controls, while the palm and fingers are reinforced with Kevlar, the aramid fibre used where cut and abrasion resistance count. A jersey lining helps them slide on, and a wide elastic Velcro strap closes the wrist. They suit a warm-water wreck where there is metal everywhere, laying and following line on a cave or technical dive, and a working dive clearing a mooring. The thinner neoprene gives less warmth than the 5 mm Kevlar model, so cold water calls for that one instead. Sizing is by palm circumference. It suits a diver who puts hands on things and needs dexterity with protection.
