SEAC U-1000 Fins

Description

The U-1000 is an open heel scuba fin from Seac, designed for divers who want excellent performance and strong thrust. A special thermoplastic polymer gives a sturdy structure that resists shocks, abrasion and sudden changes in temperature, and Seac describes the fin as suitable for intensive and professional use, including military work. The inner surface of the blade is precisely bent to move more water, known as the spoon effect, for greater thrust. The foot pocket has a non-slip sole, and an elastic sling strap makes the fin quick to put on. The U-1000 is negatively buoyant, which cancels the positive buoyancy of neoprene dive boots. The fins are made entirely in Italy and come in white and red. Seac lists five sizes: XS/S fits EU 34 to 36, S/M EU 37 to 39, M/L EU 40 to 42, L/XL EU 43 to 45 and XL/XXL EU 46 to 48.
