Description

A 5 mm boot in Cape water and a 3 mm boot on a Sodwana trip are two different feet, and a second pocket in a second size costs far less than a second pair of fins. This is the boot-fit half of the Modular Fin System sold on its own, so a blade already owned changes from full foot to open heel, and it is also the part replaced when a pocket tears instead of the whole fin. The pocket is moulded in premium Monprene. A heavy-duty marine-grade bungee heel strap micro-adjusts across boot thicknesses rather than forcing one setting, and extended grip pads on the sole give non-skid footing on a wet deck. One set of Lock Plates is included for assembly, joined to a blade through the Socket-Lock Connecting System. Sizes XS to XL come in black or white, supplied as a pair, compatible with the Seawing Supernova and S-TEK blades. Barefoot warm-water divers take the full foot pocket. It suits a diver sizing fins to the boot rather than the blade.
