Description

On a breath-hold descent every cubic centimetre of air inside a mask has to come out of the lungs, which is why freedivers care about mask volume in a way scuba divers never need to. The Sphera X answers it with curved Plexisol lenses instead of flat tempered glass, sitting far closer to the face and cutting internal volume to a fraction of a scuba mask, while the curve delivers 180 degrees of panoramic vision with no distortion. Paired here with the Wrap snorkel, which rolls into a fist-sized bundle so the pair travels in a pocket rather than a box. The mask ships in a heavy-duty EVA case with a corrosion-free zipper. All in black. That answers a depth session on a line, a spearfishing dive, and a snorkeller who dislikes clearing. It suits a freediver who counts the air spent equalising a mask.
