Description

Cold water rarely soaks through good neoprene; it gets in at the neck, the wrists and the ankles, so Tecline built the Proterm overall around those openings. This one-piece 5 mm suit has a plush inner lining, double seals at the wrists and ankles, and smooth-skin neoprene at the collar, where a short zip lets the diver close the neck snugly once the suit is on. For a winter weekend at an inland quarry it works on its own, or with the matching hooded vest pulled over it for a second layer across the chest and back. On a liveaboard week along a cooler coastline it pairs with a hood and gloves for four or five dives a day. Kevlar patches on the shoulders and knees take the wear from kneeling on rock and shouldering cylinders, and the YKK zips run inside protective sheaths. It suits a diver who wants a hard-wearing full suit that can be layered as the season turns.
