THERMOCLINE GLOVES 3MM

The Aqua Lung Thermocline is a 3 mm glove built around HS200 neoprene, a high-stretch grade that extends to more than twice its own length. Stretch is the real measure of a dive glove. One that resists the hand leaves the fingers tired after twenty minutes on a line or a buckle.

The fingers are cut pre-curved to match a relaxed hand rather than a flat one, so closing a fist does not fight the neoprene. A ribbed panel across the back keeps the glove in shape after a season. The palm is rubberised for grip on a shot line, a cylinder valve or a camera tray. Seams are triple-glued and blind-stitched, and the wrist closes on a cinch that cuts the flow of water into the glove.

The result is a glove warm enough for South African conditions that still allows a diver to operate an inflator and a computer without removing it.

Supplied in black, in extra small through extra large, and packed in a reusable mesh bag. The 5 mm Thermocline is the colder-water version of the same design. Gloves are sized on hand width, so measure across the knuckles rather than guessing from a shirt size.
