Tovatec Optical Filter System for Mera

Description

Reds fade quickly as a diver descends, which leaves underwater footage looking washed out and blue, and the Tovatec Optical Filter System corrects that colour on the Tovatec MERA dive light and built-in camera. The set contains two underwater colour filters made from optical grade materials, one for primary dives and one for green-water dives. On a tropical reef in clear blue water, the primary filter brings warmth back into coral and fish. In a quarry, a lake or a plankton-rich coastal site, the green water filter handles the shift in colour that a blue-water filter cannot. The filters work with or without the MERA's 1000 lumen video light switched on, which covers bright shallow dives as well as deeper dives where the light is needed. Both store in a reusable zippered case between dives. The system already comes with a new MERA, so this set serves as a replacement or a spare. It suits a MERA owner who films in both blue and green water.
