Description

The Amara palm is the reason to take this over a plain neoprene glove: it resists punctures and stays soft when dry rather than setting hard between dives, which is what makes a barnacle-encrusted ladder in a swell manageable. Behind it, 1.5 mm of neoprene on the back supplies warmth and flexibility, thin enough to keep the feel for buckles and clips that a 5 mm cold-water glove takes away, so a camera tray or a BCD dump valve is still workable. Fingertips and palm are reinforced for grip and durability, and an adjustable velcro wrist seal sets the fit and keeps flushing down. X-Foam is the foam used, limestone based rather than petroleum based and inside the strict PAH limits SCUBAPRO adopted ahead of the rest of the dive trade. Black only, in five sizes XS to XL, listed as special order. Tropical water asks for nothing more than this. It suits a warm-water diver wanting a thin, tough glove.
