Description

Eighty five degrees is the general purpose answer. It is wide enough to light a reef face evenly rather than putting a bright disc in the middle of it, and narrow enough to still carry some distance, which is why this is the version most divers end up using for everything that is not signalling or wreck penetration. Output runs from 1300 lumens at level IV down to 175 at level I, giving two hours at full power and twenty at the lowest, so the same torch covers a photo dive and a week of backup duty. Colour temperature is 6500K cool white from an XML LED and the aluminium housing measures 35.5 by 126.3 millimetres at 162 grams with the battery. Removable yellow and red filters and a mounting clip come in the box. It suits a diver who wants one torch for general use.
