America Snorkel Keeper

Description

A snorkel with no keeper hangs off the mask strap and swings on every turn of the head, which is enough to break a seal and flood the mask. This is the replacement keeper for the Cressi America, the small clip that holds the tube against the strap where it belongs. Keepers fail quietly, perishing from UV and salt long before the snorkel does, so a snorkel that seems fine is often one split clip away from being unusable, and there is no field repair for it. Keeping a spare with the mask is the sensible answer. Fitting the correct model is what matters, since the keeper has to suit both the tube diameter and the strap it grips. It is supplied in black. Cressi publish no material specification for this part, so nothing further is claimed here. It suits an owner of a Cressi America snorkel.
