Cressi Aquawing BCD

Description

Buying a BCD by size is a problem for anyone who dives in a drysuit in winter and a 3 mm suit in summer, because the correct size changes with the suit. The Aquawing is one size, XS to XL, and adapts through Cressi's patented Modular Adjustment System: a single 50 mm belt runs around the shoulders and waist and is adjusted in seconds to fit the body inside whatever it is wearing. The air cell is a donut shape drawn for correct buoyancy on a single cylinder, and an anodised light alloy back plate keeps the weight down while holding the rig stable. A thermoplastic rubber cylinder rest moulded into the back positions the tank for good trim. Shoulder straps and back cover are air-net, which is soft and drains quickly, and a pocket in the back cover is sized for a decompression buoy. It suits a diver whose exposure suit changes with the season.
