Description

Drawing a knife with one hand is not a preference, it is the only option when the other hand is holding a line, a torch or a buddy. The Borg's sheath carries a locking mechanism released with one hand, separated from the blade by a small technopolymer thumb tab so the thumb finds the release by feel rather than by looking. It is a large knife at 26.5 cm with a strong tempered stainless blade: one side straight-edged, the other serrated along its full length, and both sharp enough to be effective on line rather than one being decorative. Two standard straps are supplied for mounting it on the leg. Size is the point here, because a large blade does work a small one cannot, at the cost of somewhere to put it. It suits a diver who wants a full-size knife they can draw one-handed.
