SCUBAPRO S-TEK Waist Buckle Stainless 50mm

Description

One buckle holds a back plate harness closed. There is no second fastening and no redundancy in the design, which is exactly why the part is stainless steel rather than plated, and why it is worth replacing at the first sign of wear rather than the last. A buckle that has to be forced closed, or one that lets go under a load it should hold, has already given the warning it is going to give. Fifty millimetre webbing is the technical diving standard, so this fits any harness cut to that width and not only a SCUBAPRO one. Replacing it means unthreading the waist strap, which is bench work rather than something done on a boat. It suits any 50 mm harness whose waist buckle is worn, bent or sticky.
