Description

Buying a thicker wetsuit for three cold months of the year is an expensive way to solve a problem a base layer solves for a fraction of the price. The Core Vest is a sleeveless neoprene layer worn under a suit for extra insulation in cooler water, adding warmth exactly where it matters, around the core, without adding bulk at the shoulders where it would cost movement. Sleeveless is the deliberate part: the arms stay free and the suit still goes on. Worn alone in warm conditions it works as a light top in its own right, which makes it useful across the year rather than only in winter. It is made from ultra-stretchy 2.5 mm neoprene and fits like a second skin, so it does not bunch under a suit. Five sizes run from XS to XL, in black. It suits a woman extending the range of the wetsuit she already owns.
