Description
The handle carries the trigger mechanism and takes the strain of every loading, so a cracked or tired handle is worth replacing before it fails on a dive. Free Divers make their speargun handle in glass filled nylon and supply it with either a stainless steel trigger or an acetal trigger. The stainless steel version matches the trigger specified on guns such as the Ranger Elite, Rubicon Zenith and Infinity Sphere. The acetal version matches the entry guns, the Rubicon Horizon and Infinity Stratos. A diver rebuilding a gun after a hard season can fit a complete handle rather than chase individual trigger parts. Others build a spare gun around a new handle and barrel. It suits a spearfisher repairing or building a Free Divers speargun.
