Description

On the walk from the bakkie to the water these go on over a dive suit, take the seat wear from sitting on rock, and come off wet without dragging a litre of water along, which is what a shore diver's small kit needs instead of a separate bag. The build is 1 mm X-Foam neoprene with stretch nylon over a micro-plush lining that takes on less water than a plain one, so they dry between dives rather than sitting cold and heavy. The 2024 revision enlarged the cargo pockets and fitted internal bungees and a D-ring inside each as attachment points. Velcro flaps open with a gloved hand and large-diameter eyelets drain the pockets fast, with a small zippered pocket on the outside of the flap for keys or a bakkie remote. The waist belt threads through belt loops onto a squeeze buckle, and abrasion-resistant fabric backs the seat panel. Six sizes run S to 3XL. At 1 mm these are a wind and abrasion layer. It suits a man shore diving who wants pockets.
