Lalizas MOB Lifebuoy Light SOLAS

Description

A man overboard at night is found by the light, not the ring, and the Lalizas MOB Lifebuoy Light gives an approved beacon to tie to every lifebuoy. It is SOLAS, MED and USCG approved and shines white at not less than 2 cd in all directions of the upper hemisphere for at least two hours. It carries the approvals that commercial vessels and charter boats look for in a lifebuoy light. On a dive boat it rides on the lifebuoy for night dives and early starts in the dark. It runs on four D-cell 1.5 V alkaline batteries, which are not included. Lalizas asks for batteries with a best-before date showing a life of seven to ten years, and for the battery date to be written in the space on the body, in line with the latest MED rules. It suits skippers and safety officers who need an approved MOB light on board.
