Apeks Luna Mini 1000 Lumens

Description

A backup torch that is too weak to finish a dive on is not a backup, and a primary that will not fit in a pocket gets left behind. The Luna Mini is small enough for the second job and bright enough for the first, at 1000 lumens across three power settings and up to six hours of run time. On a night dive it runs as a primary on a shallow reef. On a technical dive it lives in a pocket as the backup that has to work. On a wreck the sealed marine grade aluminium body takes knocks that would end a plastic torch. Charging is over USB without opening the casing, which removes the most common way a torch floods. A dedicated SOS strobe works in or out of the water. Supplied with a wrist lanyard in a zippered case. It suits a diver who wants one torch that covers both roles.
