Mares Rover Tech BCD

Description

Backplate rigs have mostly lived in technical training, and the Mares Rover Tech brings the format to the dive centre and rental rack. It pairs a UV-protected 1000 denier Cordura outer bladder and a 210 denier nylon inner bladder, giving over 150 N of lift, with a 3 mm silver anodised aluminium backplate and single tank adaptor. The fully adjustable harness fits most divers from one size, with adjustable quick-release shoulder buckles and a 40 mm adjustable crotch strap for a stable fit. A K-style inflator, a standard weight system and stainless steel D-rings and waist buckle complete the rig, which weighs 4 kg. The bladder can also carry a dive centre's own logo. That covers a centre adding backplate rigs to its rental fleet, a diver trying backmount for the first time, and daily training use. It suits a diver or centre that wants a backplate rig in one adjustable size.
