Aqualung Small Squeeze Spear Tip Blade

Description

Not every diver carries a knife only for entanglement. A spear tip is the pattern for prising a shell off a rock, opening a fouled shackle or working on something that has to be pierced rather than sliced, which is why it remains standard on working and fisheries dives. This is that tip in the standard Squeeze size, the middle of the Aqua Lung range and the one most divers find they can actually hold in gloves. The trade is honest and worth stating: a point that pierces can also pierce a drysuit, a buoyancy cell or a hand, so it demands more care than a blunt tip when cutting close to the body. The sheath releases only when the grip is squeezed and mounts to a BCD through grommets or to a belt through a locking clip. Aqua Lung do not publish a blade length for this size. It suits a diver doing work under water rather than only carrying a safety blade.
