Description

A twinset built one piece at a time is a common and sensible way to move into technical diving, and the right hand TEK3 is usually the first half bought. It carries three medium pressure ports and one high pressure port, positioned so hoses run streamlined rather than looping across the manifold. On a twinset the arrangement keeps both cylinder valves and the manifold accessible, which is what a shutdown drill depends on. On a single cylinder rig it still gives clean, snag free hose routing. On a stage or deco cylinder it serves as a dedicated first stage. It is over balanced and cold water compatible, so it holds performance at depth and in low temperatures. Second stages and hoses are bought separately. It suits a diver assembling a twinset in stages, and the left hand version completes the pair.
