Description

A spare mask is only ever carried if it fits in a pocket, and most do not. The Teknika folds flat: the skirt collapses and the buckles sit unobtrusively enough that the whole mask stows in a BCD pocket or a wetsuit pocket without a bulge. That is what makes it a genuine backup rather than one left in the car. The frame is a shock-absorbent techno-polymer built to survive a dive deck and a kit box, and the lenses are tempered glass meeting ANSI standards. Cardanic joint buckles rotate in both directions so the strap sits comfortably instead of pinching, and counterposed push-button adjustment works in gloves. A high-grade silicone skirt flexes to the contours of the face for a leak-free seal. That answers a technical diver carrying a spare, a club equipment box, and a travel kit with no room left.
