Magnetic Charging Cable for Torches

Description

A magnetic charging connector is the reason a torch survives sand and salt, and it is also the reason a lost cable is a torch that cannot be charged at all, because no ordinary USB lead will substitute for it. This is the replacement cable: USB charging with a magnetic attachment, for Cressi torches using that system. Holding a second one is the more useful position, since the failure is not usually the cable breaking but it being left plugged in at home while the torch travels, and a dive trip with a flat torch and no lead is a dive trip without a torch. It is supplied in black. Cressi publish no cable length or output specification, so nothing further is claimed here and compatibility should be confirmed against the torch model. That answers a lost cable, a damaged one and a spare for the travel bag. It suits an owner of a magnetically charged Cressi torch.
