SCUBAPRO S620 Coloured Purge Cover

Description

The purge cover is the largest and most visible face of a second stage, and on the S620Ti it can be swapped for pink or turquoise. That is more useful than it sounds. A rack of identical black regulators on a boat becomes searchable from across the deck, and on a twin set the same trick separates the primary from the necklaced backup so the right one comes to hand without a look down. Fitting is a diver-level job rather than a service centre one, and because nothing inside the valve is touched it changes neither breathing performance nor tuning. The two shades match panels in the Hydros, Seawing and Zoom ranges for a rig finished throughout. It is a replacement front piece, so the original comes off and is kept as a spare, and it does nothing for a leaking purge diaphragm, which is a workshop job. It suits a diver marking one S620Ti apart from another.
