Description

A standard bungee is at the end of its stretch before a drysuit boot is properly seated in the pocket, which is the gap this cord closes. Heavy duty construction allows micro-adjustment, so one strap covers a thin wetsuit bootie and a heavy drysuit boot on the same fin, and it self-tensions like the standard bungee with no buckle setting to lose. Technical divers running heavy blades in cold Cape water load a strap harder than a recreational diver in a 5 millimetre bootie, and this is the cord written for that. It is the black reinforced strap fitted to S-TEK open heel pockets and the replacement part for a Modular Fin System pocket. Two sizes are stocked, Midi and Mini, and the size follows the foot pocket rather than a shoe size, so the two are not interchangeable. The set is cord and end fittings, without lock plates or buckle bodies; the MFS Multi-Tool handles the buckle pins. It suits a technical diver running a drysuit boot in an open heel fin.
