Description

Hoses split at the crimp, because that is the point taking the sharpest flex every time a regulator is coiled into a bag. This moulded sleeve covers it, and two details separate it from a plain rubber sleeve. Internal ribbing lets water flush underneath, so salt and grit are not held against the hose jacket where they would sit and work. External baffles stagger the stiffness along the length, so the hose bends progressively rather than folding at a single point. One sleeve fits three common hose diameters. Four colours are stocked, and on a twin set or sidemount rig they do a second job entirely: marking which hose feeds which regulator so the right one comes to hand in poor visibility. The sleeve slides on over the hose end, which means an existing hose has to come off the first stage first. It suits a diver protecting hoses that flex hard at the fitting.
