Description

A unisex jacket rides up under a full cylinder because the torso is too long and the shoulder straps sit wrong. This is the women's cut of the back-inflation Hydros Pro, torso shortened and shoulder straps set to clear the chest, on a FLUID-FORM 3D injection moulded Monprene harness rather than fabric webbing. With no fabric in the harness there is nothing to soak up water, so it comes off a bakkie after a Cape weekend dry rather than damp and heavy. Lift is 160 N in XS to S and M and 180 N in L. Dry weight is 3.9 kg with the weight system waist strap or 2.9 kg with the travel strap. Buckle pockets take 2 by 4.5 kg and rear trim pockets 2 by 2 kg, on a tank plate accepting a single cylinder to 18 litres. Two-stage Tri-Bungee spreads air across the cell, Kit-Up Assist holds the shoulder straps open for a shrug-on from a boat bench, and BC-4-Life allows single parts to be replaced. It suits a woman diving a back-inflation BCD.
