Description

A dive log that lives only on the computer is a log that disappears when the unit is sold, and the i200C exists partly to solve that. Bluetooth 4.0 sends dives straight to the free DiverLog+ app, where they can be kept, annotated with photographs and location, or exported for a course application. Four operating modes cover scuba, nitrox, gauge and apnea, so a training pool session and a reef dive use the same computer. The battery is user changeable and commercially available, which matters more than it sounds on a long trip: a flat battery becomes a ten minute job rather than a lost week. Audible and visual alarms, a dive planner, adjustable conservatism and automatic altitude adjustment are all standard. It suits a newly qualified diver buying a first computer that will still be worth keeping in five years.
