Description

Most dive boots leak at the zip, and most fin straps slide off the heel. The Isla is drawn against both. A thin flap seal under the zip acts as a barrier to water that gets through it, keeping seepage to a minimum, while the zip itself runs from the sole to the ankle so the boot is easy to pull on over a wet foot. The back of the heel is shaped to fit an open-heel fin, with a small boss that stops the fin strap slipping, which is the detail that keeps a fin on through a surf entry. Toe and heel are reinforced with long-lasting rubber against wear, and a strong non-slip moulding covers the whole sole for walking on rock and slipways. They are made from soft double-lined neoprene, offered here in 5 mm and 7 mm, in sizes X-Small to XX-Large. Cressi also produce a 3.5 mm thickness. It suits a diver in cold water using open-heel fins.
