On the Atlas ADJ, a side knob sets breathing effort on an all-metal second stage that pairs Vortex Assisted Design and Pneumatic Assisted Design with a large pivoting purge button. The pearl chrome 62X first stage has Auto Sealing Technology and Dynamic Flow Control on every low pressure port, and the regulator weighs 1017 g in DIN. The XR-Rec Trim brings a 17 litre, 160 N bladder that runs longer at the lower back, independent shoulder and waist straps and a skeleton aluminium backplate, all at 2.8 kg. No octopus is included, which leaves room to add the alternate air source that suits the diver's training. That covers cold, silty wreck and quarry dives, extended range training, and a traveller who wants premium breathing on a light plate.
