Mares MC-70 Knife

Description

Plenty of divers prefer a small blade on the BCD, and the MC-70 packs the useful parts of a dive knife into a 70mm blade that tucks away neatly. The 420 stainless steel blade has a straight edge, a serrated edge and a line cutter, with a flat tip. The handle is a large moulded grip despite the compact size. It rides in a solid plastic sheath with a one-handed clip, and it fits the knife mount grommets on Mares BCDs using the screws supplied. That makes it a good choice for a travel rig where weight and bulk count, a snorkelling vest where a big knife would be out of place, or as a backup cutter alongside a line cutter on a technical harness. It suits a diver who wants a small, easy to reach knife that covers line, rope and general cutting jobs.
