OMS IQ Lite CB Backpack with Vertical Weight Pockets

Description

Carrying lead is the usual weak point of a travel rig, and the OMS IQ Lite CB Backpack answers it with two vertical weight pockets on a cummerbund harness. Each pocket holds up to 2.7 kg (6 lb), and one doubles as a utility pocket for a spare mask or a slate, so the weight belt can stay at home on a dive holiday. The cummerbund wraps the waist and holds the rig close when kitting up on a rolling boat deck. The whole backpack weighs about 1.64 kg (3.6 lb) and uses anodised aluminium hardware. OMS designed it to take a slide-in backplate in stainless steel or aluminium, either as extra ballast or to convert the rig for double cylinders later. Sizes run from XS to XL, matched to chest size and height. It suits a diver who travels light but wants integrated weights and the option to grow into doubles.
