B63 Battery Pack

Description

Charging a canister pack takes four hours and a surface interval takes one, which is why a second pack rather than a charger is what turns a one-dive light into an all-day one. The B63 is the spare pack for the D630: 89 watt-hours at 7.4 volts, built from eight 18650 cells in a sealed canister housing, charging over USB-C. On the v2.0 it gives 4 hours 20 at 4600 lumens or 24 hours at 460, and a second pack simply doubles that without waiting. It fits both the D630 v1.0 and v2.0, so an older light is not left behind. A 5 volt 2 amp output lets it double as a power bank for a phone or camera between dives. At 89 watt-hours it sits under the 100 watt-hour airline carry-on threshold, so it travels in the cabin, which is where lithium packs have to travel. It is supplied as the pack alone. It suits a D630 owner diving more than once a day.
