Big Blue 18650x4 Battery Pack

Description

The four-cell pack is the one that covers most of Big Blue's mid-range, and it is the spare worth owning if any of those lights is a working tool rather than an occasional one. It is a lithium-ion rechargeable pack of four 18650 cells, fitting the VL9000P Tri Color, VL11000P, VTL9000P, TL5200P, VTL9000P Max and VL11000PBRC. Supplied as a sealed assembly rather than four loose cells, which is what keeps them balanced and the light's output regulated. The reason to hold one is simple arithmetic: charging takes hours, swapping takes seconds, and a second dive in a day needs the second option. The three-cell, four-cell and seven-cell packs are not interchangeable, so the pack has to be matched to the light. A matching charger is sold separately. It suits an owner of any of those six lights who dives twice in a day.
