Description
A dust cap keeps dirt, dust and water out of the first stage filter while the regulator is stored or rinsed. This A-clamp dust cap is held in place by tightening the hand wheel at the back of the A-clamp, and it fits all A-clamps. A slot on the cap lets it be tied to the first stage with a cord so it cannot get lost when the regulator is in use. The cap should always be pushed firmly into place before the regulator is washed off after a dive, because water entering the first stage can damage the filter.
